Your Future in Football Could Start Here – MGFA BTEC Open Training Event

For many young people, football is more than just a game. It's something they look forward to, work hard at and dream of being involved in long after leaving school. At Martin Gray Football Academy, we believe that passion can become the starting point for a rewarding education and a future career.

On Monday 23rd November, we're inviting young people to join us for our next BTEC Open Training Event at Eastbourne Sports Complex in Darlington, from 7:45pm to 9:15pm. It's an opportunity to experience our coaching environment, meet the team and discover how football and education can work together.

More Than Just football

Our BTEC programme, delivered in partnership with Darlington College, combines academic learning with practical football training and personal development. Students can work towards qualifications in sports coaching and sports science while developing skills that are valuable both within sport and beyond it.

Throughout the programme, we encourage students to take responsibility, work as part of a team, communicate effectively and develop the confidence to challenge themselves. These are qualities that can open doors to further education, coaching, employment and other opportunities within the sports industry.

Come and Experience MGFA

Our Open Training Event gives prospective students the chance to see what being part of MGFA is really like. They'll take part in a practical football session, experience our coaching approach and have the opportunity to ask questions about the programme and where it could lead.

Whether your ambition is to become a coach, work in sport, continue your education or simply explore your options, this is a great opportunity to take that first step.
